Toastmaster for 2008 season will begin the First week in April 2008. Student- athletes ages 14-19 are invited to participate.

Mr. Bill Jack is the creator of this program. Mr. Jack has been a member of Victory Voices of Vision Club #54 for more than three years. During that time he served as treasurer and president. He currently serves as Area Governor for Area 51, Division 51. He has achieved Advanced Toastmaster Bronze.

The Toastmasters Youth Leadership program is designed to develop the speaking and leadership skills of young people. By developing these skills, young people will be better prepared to meet the demands and challenges of today’s world.

The program is a workshop, designed to be conducted in eight sessions. Each session should last one to two hours. Participants learn how to prepare and present a speech, how to conduct meetings, how to evaluate, and effective listening skills. By the end of the eighth session, they will have developed self-confidence and interpersonal communication skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
