Some players that I played with are now playing in college as well as the NBA. The exposure was awesome. I am thankful for the experience; everyone is not that fortunate.
Advice remembered: While playing under Coach Hill, he would say, See the Whole Picture. What he meant by this pertaining to basketball was not to concentrate on one player, instead, focus on the entire floor. This also applies to life and I use it today. I stand back and look at the BIG picture first, instead of making decisions from a small piece of information. I analyze the entire situation. This has helped me to make better and wiser decisions, as I grow older.
Additional information: My advice to basketball players today is not only enjoying the experience as a sport to grow, but to take advantage of this opportunity to build character and prepare yourself for life.
